Alisha needs to find a job because her family needs money for food and clothes.

Alisha a besoin de trouver du travail parce que sa famille a besoin d’argent pour de la nourriture et des vêtements.

Alisha did not work in her home country, but she is good at cooking and likes talking to people.

She goes for the job interview. The restaurant manager tells her they need someone who has trained as a chef.

Elle va à l’entretien d’embauche. Le gérant du restaurant lui dit qu’ils ont besoin de quelqu’un qui a une formation de chef.

艾莉莎好失望,但係佢參加咗一個叫做「食品及酒店」嘅課程。佢希望呢個課程可以幫到佢喺餐廳入便搵份工。

Alisha is disappointed, but she takes a course called “Food and hospitality”. She hopes this will help her to get a job in a restaurant.

Alisha est déçue, mais elle suit une formation nommée “Cuisine et hospitalité”. Elle espère que cela va l’aider à trouver du travail dans un restaurant.

Alisha has to work in a restaurant as part of her training course. She does not get paid, but she gets work experience.

Alisha doit travailler dans un restaurant pour sa formation. Elle n’est pas payée, mais elle gagne de l’expérience.

She adds the details of the course to her CV. A CV is a description of all the work she has done and all the courses she has taken.

跟住艾莉莎再去一間餐廳度見工,然後俾人請咗。真係好辛酸。佢經常喺夜晚佢嘅小朋友已經放咗學嘅時間,都需要返工。

Next time Alisha goes for a job interview at a restaurant, she is offered the job. It is hard work. She often has to work in the evening, when her children are home from school.

La prochaine fois qu’Alisha va à un entretien dans un restaurant, elle décroche le travail. C’est un dur travail. Elle doit souvent travailler le soir, quand ses enfants sont rentrés de l’école.

佢因為有工返可以用自己錢買嘢食同衫俾佢屋企人覺得好驕傲。

She is proud that she has got a job so that she can buy food and clothes for her family with her own money.

Elle est fière d’avoir un travail qui lui permette d’acheter de la nourriture et des vêtements pour sa famille avec son propre argent.
