Carlos rides a scooter. He rides fast.

ኣብ መንገዲ ማይ ኣሎ። እቲ መንገዲ መንሸራተቲ እዩ።

There is water on the road. The road is slippery.

Il y a de l’eau sur la route. La route est glissante.

A man falling off a scooter.

እቲ ስኩተር ካብ ቁጽጽር ወጽኢ ይኸውን እሞ ካርሎስ ይወድቕ።

He loses control of the scooter and falls off.

Il perd le contrôle du scooter et tombe.

A man lying on the road and people rushing towards him.

ካርሎስ ኣዝዩ ተጎዲኡ ኣሎ።

Carlos is badly hurt.

Carlos est grièvement blessé.

A woman phoning an ambulance.

ሓንቲ ሰበይቲ ናብ ኣምቡላንስ ትድውል እሞ “ሓደጋ ኣጋጢሙ ኣሎ ቀልጢፍኩም ንዑ!” ትብል።

A woman calls for an ambulance. “There has been an accident. Come quickly!”

Une femme appelle une ambulance. “Il y a eu un accident. Venez vite !”

An ambulance.

ኣምቡላንስ ኣዝያ ቀልጢፋ መጺኣ።

The ambulance comes very quickly.

L’ambulance arrive très vite.

ክልተ ሰባት ንካርሎስ ኣብ ቃሬዛ ኣደቀስዎ።

Two men put Carlos on a stretcher.

Deux hommes mettent Carlos sur un brancard.

ንካርሎስ ናብታ ኣምቡላንስ ኣደይበምዎ።

They lift Carlos into the ambulance.

The ambulance drives to the hospital.

She treats him.

Carlos’s leg hurts a lot, and he is worried.

ወለዱ ይበጽሕዎ እሞ። እቲ ሓደጋ ብኸመይ ከም ዘጋጠሞ ይሓቱዎ።

His parents visit him. They ask him how the accident happened.

Ses parents lui rendent visite. Ils lui demandent comment l’accident est arrivé.

ብመኪና ናብ ገዝኡ ይመልስዎ። ሕጂ ካርሎስ ክራንች ይጥቀም ኣሎ።

They drive him home. Carlos is using crutches.

Ils le ramènent à la maison. Carlos utilise des béquilles.
